VINE & OLIVE - Full-Time or Part-Time Retail Associates
Sandusky restaurant and market looking to fill full and part-time retail positions. Customer service skills essential. Duties include assisting customers, operating POS, taking customer orders, restocking inventory, and maintaining a clean environment. Requires working evenings and weekends. No late nights.
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associates to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail store. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for sales.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
- Assist customers with purchases, including processing payments and handling returns
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Meet sales goals and targets set by management
- Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Experience in appliance, electronics, jewelry, or technical sales is a plus
- Basic math skills to handle transactions accurately
- Strong phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries over the phone
- Excellent customer service skills to provide exceptional service to customers
- Familiarity with retail math concepts such as calculating discounts, taxes, and profit margins
